Use iTunes or Apple Devices to Link an iPhone to Windows 11
iTunes or Apple Devices may also be used to connect your iPhone to a Windows 11 PC. You may use Apple Devices to synchronize your computer’s music, movies, and TV series with your iPhone. Your iPhone may also be updated, backed up, and recovered. iTunes may be used to manage free audiobooks and podcasts.
Here’s how to get started, regardless of the app you choose:
- Download the app from the Microsoft Store and install it on your computer:
- Use the iPhone’s USB cable to connect it to your Windows 11 machine. Depending on your iPhone’s port type and the available USB ports on your computer, you may need an adapter. For example, some iPhones connect via USB-C; if your PC has that port, simply use that cable to connect.
- Your iPhone will prompt you to Trust on your iPhone. You may also need to enter your passcode.
- Choose Continue if prompted on your computer, such as in iTunes.
- Your iPhone will now appear on the left side of the app. You can view your phone’s files by selecting a category, such as Movies or Music.
- In the General (Apple Devices) and Summary (iTunes) sections, you can get information about your phone and back it up directly to your Windows 11 PC.
